Apple Takes TI Talent

After Texas Instruments (TXN) announced it was getting out of the mobile device market in the wake of its disaster with Mircosoft RT (and Toshiba, its hardware partner which bailed first), Apple was detected trying to tempt TI's talent to its facilities.

Apple succeeded: over 100 former TI employees will staff Apple's new R&D center in Ra'anana, Israel. This continues Apple's effort to retain meaningful differentiation through product quality. toward that end, it's been growing R&D just as it's been investing in Property, Plant, and Equipment.
