Sal (or Sal9000, as he's known online)
married a video game character and, though fully aware the character is part of a game, prefers her to the real thing any day. (The inverse,
Japanese robots with an unhealthy infatuation with humans, is a different issue altogether. Sal's girl is a
Love Plus character and can't attack.) Sal
isn't unique. Toying with
people's men's fascination with
liaisons involving inhuman romantic simulacra seems to represent a sound business.
