Beleaguered Gaddafi, longstanding strongman of a state sponsor of international terror, is attracting supportive comments from other heads of state equally out of touch with the civilized world. The quotes can't be done justice; read them yourself.
When I read that Gaddafi had won a human rights award from Chavez, I had to check to make sure I wasn't reading The Onion. It's like vicious strongmen who want to be taken seriously as respectable heads of state have formed a mutual admiration society. I understand they invited Putin, but he was booked giving continuing education presentations to upward-mobile gangsters for a share of future revenue.
Good-natured and spirited debate welcome. Ranting flameouts might consider posting elsewhere. Relevant posts containing links to your own's blog's comments on the subject are always welcome; incoherent mumblings accompanied by spam posts for commercial products are just not cool. Use good sense.
I think some of the comments are quite funny considering them coming from people like Castro and Chavez.
